Iwashita (Yo) Hiroshi

岩下洋 (Iwashita Hiroshi)

Hiroshi Iwashita was born in 1917 in Tokyo. He's also known as Iwashita Yo. He graduated from the Tama College of Fine Arts and exhibited with Kokugakai. He's known as a stencil artist, but also made moku-hanga rich in textile patterns, folk art quality, and humor. See See Helen Merritt and Nanako Yamada.
